Does redundancy pay affect Universal Credit?

Money you still hold from redundancy pay counts with household savings as capital. Capital above £6,000 reduces Universal Credit, and capital above £16,000 usually prevents a claim.

Can I claim JSA and Universal Credit together?

Yes, if eligible for both. New Style JSA counts as income and reduces Universal Credit pound for pound.
